Data Protection Policy

1. Identity of the Data Controller

The information provided by the User through any of the forms or contact channels on the Website, which may contain personal data, will be treated by VERIFARMA INTERNATIONAL, S.L. (hereinafter,”Verifarma”), with registered office at Calle Viera y Clavijo 33 — 2nd Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las 35002-Las Palmas (Spain) and CIF B-88608377, as data controller.

2. Purpose and legal basis of the treatment

Verifarma will need to process the User's data both to respond to requests for information that the User makes through the contact channels of the Website, and to provide the services requested or to which the User decides to subscribe or register through one of the forms on the Website.

The legal basis that justifies the processing by Verifarma of the data collected through the Website may be the express consent of the User, the contractual relationship between Verifarma and the User or Verifarma's legitimate interest when it comes, for example, to offer Verifarma's own services and products that are the same or similar to those previously contracted or requested by the User.

Any User who contacts Verifarma through the contact channels on the Website consents to the processing of the data provided through such contact in accordance with this Data Protection Policy.

Verifarma will process the information provided by the User for different purposes, depending on the method of data collection:

  • Manage, administer, provide, expand, adapt and improve the services requested or to which the User has decided to subscribe or register.
  • Design new services related to the previous ones.

The User consents to the processing of their data for the purposes described, or where appropriate for the purposes described in the Data Protection Policy provided together with the subscription form for the services of the Website, without prejudice to their right to revoke said consent.

3. Data transfer

The data that the User has provided to Verifarma will not be communicated to any third party, unless:

  • The assignment is authorized by law.
  • The treatment responds to the free and legitimate acceptance of a legal relationship whose development, compliance and control necessarily implies the communication of data to third parties.
  • The data are requested by the Public Prosecutor's Office or the Judges or Courts or the Court of Auditors, in the exercise of the functions assigned to them.

Verifarma may share data with companies in its Group when it has a legitimate interest, for operational, corporate or administrative reasons. In this regard, Verifarma informs the User that there may be an international transfer of their data when they are processed by the Verifarma company located in Argentina, BDEV, S.A.

The transfer of personal data will be carried out in compliance with applicable data protection regulations in Europe, Spain and any relevant data protection laws in Argentina. Verifarma guarantees that appropriate security measures and safeguards will be implemented to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of personal data during its transfer and processing in Argentina.

4. Mandatory or optional nature of the information requested

The mandatory data in each form will be identified as such on the form itself. The refusal to provide such information will prevent the service requested by the User from being effective.

5. Data Retention

The retention period for personal data will vary depending on the service, until its provision is completed in a satisfactory manner or until the User revokes their consent. In any case, the retention period of personal data will be restricted to the minimum necessary, so that they will only be kept as long as the purpose for which they were collected is maintained. When its conservation is no longer necessary, Verifarma will keep blocked those data that may be necessary for the legally established periods to address any question related to its treatment. After the legal deadlines have elapsed, personal data will be deleted taking appropriate security measures to guarantee their total destruction.

6. Exercise of rights

The User may exercise before Verifarma their rights of access, rectification, cancellation/deletion, opposition, limitation and portability by sending an email to the address Info@verifarma.com, or by regular mail to the address indicated above, identifying themselves as a User of the Website.

In addition, if you consider that your right to the protection of personal data has been violated, you can file a complaint with the competent Data Protection Authority (in the case of Spain, with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es).

7. USER commitments regarding data protection

The User guarantees that they are of legal age and that the information provided is accurate and truthful. The User undertakes to inform Verifarma of any changes to the information provided by sending an email to the address Info@verifarma.com, identifying himself as a User of the Website and specifying the information that needs to be modified.

In addition, the User undertakes to keep the identification keys and codes secret and to inform Verifarma as soon as possible in the event of loss, theft or unauthorized access. Until such communication occurs, Verifarma will be exempt from any liability that may arise from the misuse by unauthorized third parties of such passwords and identification codes.

If the User provides personal data of third parties for any purpose, he guarantees to have informed those affected in advance and to have obtained their consent for the communication of their data to Verifarma.

8. Security measures

Verifarma has adopted the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of personal data and prevent their alteration, loss, treatment or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of the technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed.

9. User Compliance

The User declares to have read and understood this document and expressly consents to the processing of their data in accordance with the conditions expressed.
